This lock is designed for an outward swinging window hinged at the top. It can be operated either by hand or by a pole mounted hook. Window unlatches when handle is pushed and relatches when window is pulled closed. Solid Brass. Mounting plate measures 3-1/2" x 15/16". Strike plate measures 5/8" x 1 9/16". Overall length 5".
